09:30  Chipewa Creek Gorge Overlook에서 Hemlock(치페와 계곡 골짜기 솔송나무길) Loop Trail (2.5mile 4km) 출발 

          계곡이 잘 보이지는 않았지만 간간히 내다볼 수는 있었는데 숲이 우거져서 인지 실감이 나지 않았으나 강가를 따라 굽이굽이

          걸어 내려가는 길이 편하고 우거진 숲이 마음 가볍게 하며 육아 담당하는 날인지 몰라도 아빠가 아기를 무등 태우다가 걸리다가

          도란도란 이야기소리가 들릴 정도로 정담을 나누는 모습이 걷는 나에게 즐거움을 더해 주었다         

10:20  Chipewa Creek DR과 만나는 지점에서 종료 : 숲속에서 나와 확 트인 2차선 양 옆 숲과 거목은 대단한 감응 그 자체였다

10:25 Chipewa Creek River를 가로 지르는 다리 앞에서 처음 맞는 길이라 시간 측정이 어려워 앞에 놓인 숲 광장을 보지 못하고 되돌아 옴

11:04 Chipewa Creek DR를 따라 계속되는 멋진 숲길 아니 거목과 어울어 진 확 트인 길을 따라  만끽하면서

         Harriet Keeler Shelther House 대피소에 도착하니 시설이 튼튼하기도 하지만 깨끗하게 잘 정돈 된 모습이

         우리의 대피소와는 미안하지만 비교가 안되는 수준급이었다

11:09 Harriet Keeler Memorial Picnic Area 도 아무리 바빠도 도착시간을 예측할 수 가 없으니까 잠깐 들러보고

        Hinckley Lake Trail 이후 이번 일정에 두번째 맞는 코스인데 또 다른 묘미가 있어 좋았다

Cleveland Metroparks is an extensive system of nature preserves in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. The various reservations, which largely encircle the city of Cleveland, tend to follow the rivers and creeks that flow through the region. Referred to unofficially as the 'Emerald Necklace',^[1] the network of parks spans over 21,500 acres (8,700 ha) and includes hundreds of miles of walking, bicycle, and horse trails as well as numerous picnic areas, nature education centers, golf courses, and countless fishing spots. In addition, the district includes the zoo in Cleveland. Several of the reservations are adjacent to Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

While the majority of the reservations are in the suburbs of Cuyahoga County, Brookside Reservation is located within the city of Cleveland, and the Lakefront Reservation consists of several beachfront parks spanning the city's waterfront. Additionally, three of the reservations are either partially or entirely situated outside Cuyahoga County: a portion of North Chagrin Reservation is in Lake County; a small portion of Bradley Woods Reservation is in Lorain County; the Hinckley Reservation is in Hinckley Township in Medina County.^[1]

Brecksville

3,494 acres (1,414 ha)

Located in Brecksville, the reservation includes the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course and seven distinct gorges, of which the Chippewa Creek Gorge is the most notable. The Squire Rich Historical Museum is located on the western edge of the park, managed by the Brecksville Historical Society.[11]

Golf, Hiking and cross country skiing trails, bridle trails, outdoor education facility, Brecksville Nature Center, sledding, stables, and a National Audubon Society Bird Area Program.[11]
